The cover features Prag Mahal, one of Kutch's most iconic nineteenth-century landmarks in Bhuj. Designed in the Italian Gothic Revival style, the palace stands as a remarkable blend of European architectural influences and the craftsmanship of local artisans.

Unlike many places we travel to document, Prag Mahal is where we work every day. Our studio is located within the Prag Mahal–Darbargadh complex, making this historic building not just a subject of research, but the setting for our everyday practice. Its sandstone façades, soaring clock tower and intricate architectural details continually inspire our work.
